Rust converters are liquid formulations used to reverse or halt the oxidation process of iron.

Rust Converters are commonly used in the repair of cars, in paint mixtures, and also for machinery, ships, fences, etc. Persistent protection is achieved only if loose rust has been removed beforehand, for example, through brushing, grinding, or sandblasting. Rust converters cannot turn rust back into metal; treated surfaces do not become metallically shiny again but remain dull dark gray. After applying and drying the liquid, the substrate forms a matte surface and can subsequently be painted with our metal protection paint.

Surface Preparation:

• The surface must be clean, grease-free, and dry.
• Remove loose rust mechanically if possible before application.
• Apply the rust converter with a brush or roller.
