Epoxy resin primer for reliable floor preparation

This 2K epoxy primer is a liquid epoxy resin primer for floor systems indoors and outdoors. It consolidates sandy and mineral substrates and improves adhesion on smooth surfaces.

Use it as a primer for epoxy floor paint on concrete, screed, cement-based surfaces, smooth substrates, cast asphalt and old coatings. It is suitable for garages, warehouses, balconies, terraces and similar floor areas before a compatible epoxy floor system is applied.

Resistance and capillary sealing

The primer is solvent-free, water-resistant and chemical-resistant. It resists alkalis, diluted acids, salt solutions, mineral oils, lubricants and fuels, and can be used for capillary sealing of cement-based substrates.

Application

Mix resin and hardener at a 2:1 ratio. Working time is approx. 20-30 minutes at 20 °C. Apply with a short-pile roller at +7 °C to +30 °C. The surface is walkable after approx. 10 hours and fully cured after approx. 7 days.
