This binder for stone carpet is made for exterior surfaces exposed to sunlight and changing weather. The UV protection helps preserve the colour effect of the marble gravel and reduce fading from direct sunlight.

The epoxy resin binder stone carpet system is suitable for terraces, balconies, garden paths, driveways, swimming pool surrounds and parking spaces. As a marble gravel binder, it is mixed with stones and applied as a 6 mm stone carpet layer.

Application and substrates

Suitable substrates include screed, concrete, tiles and cast asphalt. Clean the substrate thoroughly; if needed, use a stone carpet primer to improve adhesion.

Application

Mix components A and B at max. 450 rpm for 2-3 minutes, then add the stones. Mixing ratio: 25 kg stones to 1.5 kg binder. Process the material within 60-90 minutes and apply at 6 mm layer thickness.
