Tile primer is a solvent-free, low-odour adhesion primer on polymer-dispersion basis for ceramic tiles and mineral substrates. This primer for tile paint improves adhesion before 1K or 2K tile paint on kitchen tiles, bathroom tiles, floor tiles and wall tiles.

Adhesion primer before painting tiles

This tile paint primer prepares smooth tiles and mineral substrates for later coatings. It creates an adhesion-promoting intermediate layer so tile paint can bond more evenly and securely to the substrate.

The adhesion primer is suitable for kitchen tiles, bathroom tiles, floor tiles and wall tiles. It is compatible with 1K and 2K tile paints and other commercially available tile coatings.

Cleaning and sanding before coating

For a sound surface, clean and degrease the tiles thoroughly, then sand with 180-240 grit. After drying, the surface can be coated with tile paint.

Application

Clean and degrease the substrate, then sand with 180-240 grit. Apply the tile primer evenly and allow it to dry fully. Plan approx. 1-2 hours drying before the next coating.
