Hard-wearing metal topcoat for indoor and outdoor use

CAIRCON metal paint is an air-drying, solvent-based topcoat for properly prepared metal surfaces. It is suitable for iron, steel, aluminium and zinc in indoor and outdoor applications.

The metal lacquer can be used on garage doors, railings, metal fences and letterboxes as well as industrial structures, pipes, bridges, roofs, lattice towers, containers and metal wall or ceiling cladding.

Satin-gloss finish with easy-care protection

Once dry, the coating forms a satin-gloss surface that is abrasion-resistant, easy to clean and resistant to most oils. A continuous, even coat supports reliable and long-lasting rust protection.

Application

Remove loose old coatings and rust, sand the surface and apply a suitable primer where required. The substrate must be dry, clean, stable and free from grease and separating substances. Mechanically remove rust and residues from iron and steel until sound metal is exposed. Pre-treat zinc with a suitable zinc cleaner. Clean aluminium, abrade it with nylon fleece and clean it again.

Stir the metal paint thoroughly and apply evenly by brush, roller or airless spray. Work wet-on-wet and create a continuous coat without gaps. If required, adjust the consistency with 5-10% universal thinner. When spraying, work only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
